Poetry of Kansas Here & Now, There & Then

Among those gathered beneath
the shooting stars and thunder moon,
was one who spoke beneath
the throng- in whispers.
Her very breath spilled secrets

across the wisps of prairie
beneath her bare feet.
If one listened  long enough,
the threads of her tapestry
would become visible.
