Water SafeLuxPoemsandLuxNgafeewwsonPoems

At 6, we learn

to float,

bellies up,

noses dry,

holding hands,

counting stars,

knowing better

than to reach up

& catch them

lest we sink.

~ Christina Lux

on their black fins.
