43. To the Stars Through Difficulty: Kat Greene

The wind scours the fields.
Yellow dust obscures the moon
and the horizon.

Buffeted with grit we seek
shelter from the bitter wind.

After it settles
the Milky Way fills the sky.
Grasses emerge, green.

The sun casts morning shadows.
Long strands contradict the storm.
